SS Rajamouli is still receiving a ton of love and gratitude for his film RRR’s significant Oscar victory. Ram Charan and Jr. NTR played the main characters in the movie. At the 2017 Academy Awards, the song Naatu Naatu won a coveted prize. Rajamouli recently attended an occasion in Japan, where he told a lighthearted story about how he prepared MM Keeravaani for his acceptance speech at the Oscars. The director also said that Keeravaani spent three weeks rehearsing his Oscar speech.

“One of the funniest things that happened during the Academy Awards happened with my elder brother, MM Keeravaani,” Rajamouli said, addressing the Japanese audience. For Naatu Naatu, he received a nomination for Best Original Song. He was thus rather optimistic about receiving the prize. There are just 45 seconds allotted for speeches at the Oscars. It would thus cause him to get somewhat dyspeptic in order for him to get up from his chair.

He went on to say, “So we used to make him practice for about three weeks before the Academy Awards happened.” Before he could give his speech, we had him go up to a spot with steps and merely wave his hands and collect his breath. Additionally, we constantly advised him to walk slowly so he could speak without becoming out of breath. He said, “Okay.” He spent those three weeks practicing in this manner.

However, he said, “He forgot all the training on the day it was announced that RRR had won the coveted award.” Fortunately, however, he was able to finish his speech without being out of breath. Top of the World was the song he sang. Richard Carpenter sang the song with his kids the next day when we were back at home and feeling very pleased, honoring my brother (Keeravaani). That’s when he started crying.

In the meantime, SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu are collaborating on an action-adventure film that is not yet named.
