Two Prestigious Awards in a Month for Social Activist Dr. Binu Varghese

It is a moment of immense pride and honor for social activist and investigative journalist Dr. Binu Varghese, who has been conferred with two prestigious awards within a single month, recognizing his outstanding contribution to social service and investigative journalism.

Dr. Varghese was honored with the “Bharat Pride Awards 2026” on 27th March at the Marriott Hotel, Udaipur, Rajasthan. The award was presented by Chief Guest Lt Gen N.K. Singh (PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, Indian Army) in the esteemed presence of Prashant Agarwal (Global President, Narayan Seva Sansthan) and Guest of Honour Prof. Col. S.S. Sarangdevot (Vice Chancellor, JRN Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth), along with other distinguished dignitaries.

Earlier in the month, on 14th March, he was also conferred with the “Maharashtra Ratna Puraskar 2026” at Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, Nariman Point, Mumbai. The award was presented by Bollywood actress Isha Koppikar, in the presence of international athlete Roshan Shah and other eminent personalities.

Both awards were bestowed upon Dr. Varghese in recognition of his relentless efforts, impactful social work, and fearless investigative journalism.
